Story
For three generations, producers Oscar & Francisca Chacon have been brewing magic. Guess who was among the pioneers of honey coffees in Costa Rica? Yep, these two.
Their Los Angeles Micromill is not just about top-notch beans but also about loving Mother Earth. Here's a fun fact: Francisca has this superb brix method of checking the cherries to ensure they're at peak perfection during harvest.
The result? It's some killer honey coffee with history and heart in every sip.

Brewing Fundamentals
Brewing Fundamentals
Brewing ratio
For hot coffee, a good starting point is 1 part coffee to 15 parts water. For cold brew, we recommend 1 part coffee to 13 parts water.
Grind size
Ideally, grind just before brewing. Grind size will vary based on a number of factors, including brewing method. As a start, grind to the size of table salt. Tastes weak? Grind finer. Tastes bitter? Grind coarser.
Brewing water
Ideally, use quality filtered or spring water for brewing. Water temperature at 200℉ is a good starting point. Tastes weak? Increase temperature. Tastes bitter? Reduce temperature.
