The Name Your Price Offer is sold out! Thank you for being apart of the Movement!
Three years ago, Stowe Joe became part of The Roastery’s story. It has been the coffee poured across the counter, shared in conversation, and returned to day after day. Steady, familiar, and always part of the movement.
For our third anniversary, we’re sharing it with you, Take The Roastery home with you, brew it slow, and share it with someone you love.

Brewing Fundamentals
Brewing Fundamentals
Brewing ratio
For hot coffee, a good starting point is 1 part coffee to 15 parts water. For cold brew, we recommend 1 part coffee to 13 parts water.
Grind size
Ideally, grind just before brewing. Grind size will vary based on a number of factors, including brewing method. As a start, grind to the size of table salt. Tastes weak? Grind finer. Tastes bitter? Grind coarser.
Brewing water
Ideally, use quality filtered or spring water for brewing. Water temperature at 200℉ is a good starting point. Tastes weak? Increase temperature. Tastes bitter? Reduce temperature
