Slow Joe Decaf Coffee Bag
Tasting Notes
Dark Chocolate, Toffee, Roasted Nuts, Rich
Story
It took us years of searching to find a decaf coffee that "wowed" us. The caffeine is removed from these single-origin Colombian coffee beans using a sugar cane process.
This process is 100% natural and removes only the caffeine. All the other important compounds of the bean that make for a delicious cup of coffee are kept in tact, creating the best cup of decaf we have ever tried.
Expected Shipping Time

Brewing Fundamentals
Brewing ratio
For hot coffee, a good starting point is 1 part coffee to 15 parts water. For cold brew, we recommend 1 part coffee to 13 parts water.
Grind size
Ideally, grind just before brewing. Grind size will vary based on a number of factors, including brewing method. As a start, grind to the size of table salt. Tastes weak? Grind finer. Tastes bitter? Grind coarser.
Brewing water
Ideally, use quality filtered or spring water for brewing. Water temperature at 200℉ is a good starting point. Tastes weak? Increase temperature. Tastes bitter? Reduce temperature
